Russell has been teaching Pilates for five years and loves both teaching and participating in classes.
He can teach to an intermediate level for mat work and has also completed the Bodycontrol Pilates for Golfers course.
Russell started doing Pilates classes himself for back pain and after seeing the benefits that Pilates has to offer; he wanted to share that with others. He is friendly and passionate about helping people develop the fundamental principles of Pilates, which can increase physical and mental health.
Pilates exercises help develop core strength, flexibility of muscles and joints, concentration, relaxation and body awareness.
Russell’s classes are fun and challenging and the aim of the classes are to exercise in a low impact and safe environment, but also the challenge the strength of each participant.
